It's Christmas 2017 and we're celebrating five years of offering commercial drone operations.
There's no denying that this year will break records on the number of drones being unwrapped this Christmas, but looking out the window it's a rainy day here in Hertfordshire and there will be plenty of children and adults keen to fly their new toys.
So as eager as you might be to go fly your shiny new drone, if it's raining, you're going to have to wait... These things don't like the rain and you can risk causing serious damage to an expensive piece of kit. Even if it seems fine flying in the rain, the moisture can cause future issues, so avoid flying to avoid ruining your kit!
This year DJI will be leading the drone charts, with the Mavic and Spark the two top presents of 2017.
So, if you're lucky enough to open a drone this year, please remember that there are rules which apply to everyone. The video we've posted will help answer any questions and get you set for safe and legal drone flying.
Merry Christmas from the CloudVisual team and happy flying!
